First edition of BUFF® MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL Vall de Boí started yesterday. The event, unique in Spain, has this year multiple outdoor activities besides the fourth edition of BUFF® EPIC TRAIL, benchmark in trail running calendars.
Rafting through the 12km of Noguera Pallaresa river, Orienteering Workshop and Romanesque Scene play, were the assistants can discover the particularities of art and heritage of Vall de Boí, have been the most requested between more than 15 activities that are part of the festival.
It is worth mentioning kids activities: Mini BTT, Climbing, Flex track and Wall paint, among others, that had already exceeded the total number of available registrations. Besides, a hundred children between 4 and 14 years old, have had the opportunity to get started in trail running thanks to Mini-Skyrace, a race with multiple distances between 300m and 2,5km. Although it is a free activity, BUFF® will donate 5€ for participant, to #cierraUNICEF campaign to contribute on the diffusion and support of an organization like UNICEF that protects and defends children's from all over the world rights.
Aditionally, the fourth edition of BUFF® EPIC TRAIL has been started this morning with ULTRA SKYMARATHON® 105km and SKYMARATHON® 42km, from Barruera and Espot respectively. Both races continue their curse and it's planned that the first athletes arrive at 13.30h (42km) and 19.45 (105km).
A unique three-days event that meets runners and mountain lovers in an unbeatable surroundings like Vall de Boí, that these days and in spite of the rain, has achieved more than 80% of occupation.
