Published at 27-06-2018

At just a few days before the festival begins, Vall de Boí is getting ready to host one of the most important mountain events. An endless list of activities will surprise and impress again this year.
The festival brings three very busy days of countryside activities for everyone, turning Vall de Boí into the epicentre of mountain sport for a weekend. This breathtaking landscape eagerly awaits the arrival of the best athletes and amateur enthusiasts for unforgettable experiences in the best possible surroundings for the enjoyment of sport.
A wide range of events will be held, including the four trail running races of 65K (Joan Rojas Memorial), 42K (Migu Run World Sky Series), 26K (Skyrunner National Series) and 11K that make up the BUFF ®Epic Trail through some incredible landscapes; the final event for the Scott Marathon Cup MTB; and the Catalan Bouldering Championship in which professional athletes to amateur enthusiasts will compete at their respective levels. However, we shouldn’t forget such events as the high mountain duathlon or others open to all-comers, such as the Nordic walking, the Vall de Boí Trek Festival and an endless list of children’s activities that will attract more than 3,000 participants and even more visitors. This incredible festival will begin on Friday morning and bring non-stop entertainment until Sunday afternoon.

Activities for all
One of the goals sought by the BUFF® Mountain Festival is to bring mountain sports to a wider audience and, to do so, it will include accessible events to be enjoyed by the whole family or in groups of friends. Canyoning, two-seater paragliding, rafting, via ferrata routes, mountain cinema, yoga, Nordic Walking, etc. mean the range of activities on offer is almost endless.
With that in mind, the festival is also welcoming any children wishing to enjoy a weekend fully dedicated to nature. Supercurses with celebrities from Club Super 3 for younger children who enjoy running in a magical setting; an orienteering workshop, zip lines, climbing, cycling tracks, etc. for the more adventurous; drawing and painting workshops for the more creative; and for the youngest, they can enjoy a range of age-based activities at Campus Natura.
Every little detail has been considered to ensure that nobody has to worry about anything. BUFF® Mountain Festival just wants you to enjoy yourself and make the most of what’s on offer at this great event.

A good time guaranteed
Besides the range of sports activities on offer at the festival, you will also be able to enjoy concerts and the unique tradition that is Las Fallas (UNESCO Intangible Heritage of Humanity), which will captivate everyone taking part in this amazing festival within the magnificent surroundings of Vall de Boí.
