STIAN ANGERMUND-VIK AND MAITE MAORA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SKYMARATHON®

A competition that has left us unforgettable moments like the spectacular double in the male category of the Norwegian Stian Angermund-Vik, who has won with the triumph in the Skymarathon® with a total time of 03:56:47 after obtaining the title of Champion of the world in the Vertical Kilometer® celebrated Friday. The Englishman Tom Owens, who for many kilometers was leading the race, has managed to complete the 42k in a time of 4:01:59, thus getting the second position. And closing the podium, the Spaniard Ismail Razga who has quickly climbed positions to get the third place with a time of 4:05:56.

The female category has been characterized by the continuous presence of Spanish athletes in the first positions of the competition during the whole race. Maite Maiora has become the Skymarathon® world champion after completing this race with a time of 04:42:15, in addition to occupying the third place in the Vertical Kilometer® yesterday. The Spaniard Azara Garcia has also started leading the race but soon after she was surprised by her competitors, who took her to third place to finish second in a time of 04:44:04. The Italian Elisa Desco, after an intense and strenuous race, completes a luxury podium with a record of 04:46:43.
